The ocean is overwhelmingly vast on the surface of a round earth. The sea covers 71% of the earth's surface. Most of the water on earth is in the sea. There is water on land, in rivers, lakes, glaciers and deep underground.
Still, water on land only accounts for 2.5%.

Water travels between the sea, the sky, and the land.
During that time, water will take various forms like water vapor in air, hard ice, and flowing water.

The seaweed around the sea and coral reefs are called "sea forests".
Many creatures live, lay eggs, and grow within these forests.

Sea forests produce oxygen for earth and protect the global environment by cleaning underwater debris and remove greenhouse gases.

Fish lay eggs in the sea and the baby fish become adult fish and lay eggs to continue the circle of life.

If we conduct fishing in a sustainable way, we will be able to enjoy food from the sea forever.

However current fishing around the world is happening at an unsustainable rate.
There are concerns about the extinction of sarge fish such as tuna, marlin, and manta rays.

Galapagos sea iguana swallowed a fishing hook.

It is estimated that there are about 7.3 million tons of animals in the world affected by by-catch. This is about 8% of the catch that humans catch worldwide. We need to reconsider the existence of the fishing industry at the expense of so many marine animals.

On a quiet sandy beach where there are few people, many colourful things like red and blue on the ground.
A lot of plastic debris and Styrofoam used for boxes were flowing from the sea.

Some of the plastic garbage is moving ...
It was rumoured that there was a hermit crab with a black plastic cap on his back.

There are many poisons such as dioxin, PCB and organic mercury stuck on the surface of micro plastic. These are spreading in the world’s oceans.

It has become clear that birds and fish eat microplastic as they eat, and shells such as oysters are taken into the body together with seawater.

After some time, natural materials such as wood, paper, and cotton are decomposed by microorganisms. However, even if the plastic becomes very fine, it will remain for a long time and will not be decomposed.

If nothing is done, it is predicted that by 2050 the weight of sea fish and microplastic will be the same.
